about the blog

Background

The name
Forårsblomster or (as I choose to write on the header because the font doesn't include å) foraarsblomster is a Danish word, which literally just means "spring flowers". I can't remember how I came up with the name, since it was 4 years ago, but seeing as I was like 12 at the time, I'd just take a wild guess and say it's because my birthday is in April and I wanted a "poetic" title. Or it could be because some of my first photos ever were of flowers such as crocus and snowdrop, which are, in fact, spring flowers.

The contents
As I said, the blog is 4 years old. Or actually a little more, since my first post was on February 20th 2012. It was about my love of the colour red and how I should really clean my room because there was all kinds of shit including clothes and books on the floor. For 3 years I ran the blog on and off about my personal life and photos in Danish, until I in March last year decided to switch to English in hopes for a bigger audience, which hasn't happened.

Design

Since 2012 the blog has had a lot of different designs. The width has ranged from 800 px to absurdly wide to as of now 1100 px and generally I've screwed around with HTML and CSS a lot.

Header
My current header font is La Belle Aurore from picmonkey.com. For the most part I've used the fonts available at pixlr.com/express, picmonkey.com and in Photoshop. The awkward handwritten one is surprisingly handwritten by me.

I still have all of my different headers, since it has always been pictures and blogger saves all pictures ever uploaded to the blog. They're portrayed from newest to oldest:

Those last two looks a bit awkward, but I guess that's the way it's gonna be. Also the one with the snowdrop was not my first but since it screws up the whole design I had to put it at the end.

Overall design
As I said, a lot of different widths and a lot of screwing with html and css. For an example I managed to delete the date header for good, even though I now would like it back. Unfortunately I don't know how, but if you do, please hmu. Also I managed to delete the navigation bar, but it still shows up in the layout though??

Due to all of the screwing with the design, I'm not even sure what template I originally used, but I think it might be one of those named "simple".
Right now the blog is (as I said) 1100 px wide, and therefore so is my header. In the css section of blogger-designer I currently have
h3.post-title.entry-title {
text-align:center;
} which centers the title of my posts and
.PageList {text-align:center !important;}
.PageList li {display:inline !important; float:none !important;} which centers my pages. The page link font is bolded Josefin Slab, page title font is Josefin Slab and so's the page content font

Posts
My posts are 900 px wide and the pictures in it used to be 800 px, but I've given up. The font used is Josefin Slab. The links in the footer of my posts are date, author, comments and etiquettes. In every post there is a link which leads to the picture of the post on flickr. I could just have made the pictures the link, but I myself find that annoying when I visit other blogs.

Footer and sidebar
The font in the footer is bolded Times New Roman (gasp) and Josefin Slab. I think the copyright might be Arial, but I don't really wanna check right now. The gadgets are what is called Medlemmer in Danish, but I think it might just be Followers in english, or possibly Members, 2x text (copyright and contact) and an older version of the Bloglovin button, which I used the HTML/JaveScript gadget for.

The sidebar is 200 px wide and the only gadget used there is so far 4x Picture/Photo (again, I don't know what it's called in English) with a link (an option when you add the gadget). The photos are made at picmokey.com and the font is Mossy.
